
Sara Aliza Eisen, an American television journalist, is currently affiliated with CNBC. She is anchor of the channel's shows 'Squawk in the Street and 'Closing Bell'. She's an Ohio native and was not keen on markets or currencies during her time in college. While studying at New York University she interned with ForexTV.com. It was her first encounter with business news through the experience. After that, she received an advanced degree in broadcast journalism at Northwestern University's Medill School of Journalism. After that, she was able to complete an internship of four months at Bloomberg TV in Hong Kong. She returned to America and joined Bloomberg's New York office. She was eventually a TV anchor. In December 2013 she was employed by CNBC as reporter. Prior to her appointment at 'Closing Bell and 'Closing Bell', she was co-anchor on 'Worldwide exchange' and the 'Power Lunch'. Eisen has been the co-anchor of 'Squawk on the Street' since the year 2014. Her main area of focus since her arrival at CNBC has been global consumer news.
